To view the options, click on tools --> options

The General tab contains general settings. You can set these however you desire.

The Read tab is for viewing settings. These settings will affect what the emails look like on your screen. Set these to your preference.

The Reciepts tab sets how you want outlook to handle emails received from you by others.

The Send tab contains settings for sending emails. Set these to your personal preference.

The Compose tab contains settings for composing emails.

The Signatures tab is to set your signature. This will be displayed at the bottom of your messages, as per your settings.

The Spelling tab is to select spell-checking and auto-correction options.

The Security tab is to set security settings. We do not recommend you change these settings unless you are an advanced user.

The Connection tab changes connection settings. If you have a problem with your internet disconnecting every few minutes, check this tab. Chances are you have 'hang up after sending and receiving' checked.

The Maintenance tab sets your general maintenance settings. Set these to your preference.
