I have received several requests for information about interntational adoption, particularly from the People's Republic of China. My husband, Christopher Small, and I adopted our daughter, Helen Hong Chunzhe Lord Small, from the People's Republic of China in July of 1999. Helen was born in Hefei, Anhui Province, in February of 1998.

This site contains addresses of adoption specialists specializing in adoptions from Canada and a number of other countries. It also has important information about procedures and addresses of social workers licensed to do home studies.

 
•   Our indefatigable and absolutely indispensable adoption agent, Yulin Deng, can be reached via her web site for Family Outreach International in Ottawa. As of the summer of 2005, she has arranged for the adoption of over 700 children. Her site has a superb complement of links.
